Emy Huntsman

Emy undertook a rowing scholarship at the University of Miami in Florida, USA. There she completed a degree in exercise physiology with minors in sports administration and leadership. Emy then began an Honours degree in exercise and sport science at Deakin University after returning to Melbourne.

Emy's honours project involved the preseason predictors of injury in elite Australian Rules football players and developed a predictive formula to assess the risk of sustaining an injury during the season. During this time, Emy also represented Australia at the World University Rowing Championships.

Currently Emy is pursuing her rowing and also dabbling in some track and road cycling. Her current projects with Luescher Teknik involve new designs for rowing seats to provide improved performance, as well as research into one-legged cycling for rehabilitation and conditioning.

Emy's passion in exercise and sport science lies with the pursuit of performance. Her interest in working with Luescher Teknik is to make the good better, fitter and faster through effective use of research, equipment and technology.
